I played an urban disc golf course that a few of my friends made up at a local college. We almost go into trouble one day as the police came by to talk to us. We were throwing over a road way and I think it freaked some people out.

It's all in the Hips!

Happy Gilmore, quite possibly the best golfing movie ever, has actually improved my DG game. How? Well, when Chubbs was giving Happy one of his first lessons he made a point to tell Happy that "It's all in the Hips."

In DG the hip-turn is even more important than it is in ball golf. The "X-Step" footwork is the foundation for the proper hip turn and resulting shoulder turn. Most of the power in a throw is generated from the legs which rotates the hips and causes the shoulder rotation. Many play… Continue
