How High Can You Fly
Don't do it! Even during club tournaments. You will find that make giant bottle necks and hold up play while you wait for the course to clear. It will just slow down the tournament!
Due to the number of trees I hit, I like to throw Champion/Z plastic. I tend to throw DX when I don't care about the disc, or there is an good chance of losing the disc.

Casey said… - Sorry to hear about the hip...just roaming the site and saw your comment....I'm 28 and recently hurt my hip playing in an ironman tourney(4 rounds at 4 parks in one day in Comumbia, SC) The last round I tweaked my hip and it's still giving me trouble. You should be able to get to that 300 ft. mark....Just a suggestion: try taking only one step, leaning back and torquing off your heel. I know an average older gentleman who get's great distance that way(I do to!)

I have no idea when my surgery will be. I have a degenerative hip disease. And was told when I was a kid that I'd need a replacement about 9 years ago. So far I've been fine. Had a surgery when I was 7 and since then I've been dealing with the degeneration with shoe implants, due to my leg getting shorter. So I know that its only a matter of time before I'll need the full blown replacement. Last I heard from the surgeon though he told me to wait as long as I can. Hoping the technology improves so I won't have to have the replacement every 10 to 15 years. I'm only 30 now so that would be alot of replacements. Thanks again for the info. Hopefully I'll see you around sometime.
